Hybridní drátová řezačka - první na světě od firmy Sodick.

Determined to provide its customers with ever- faster cutter speeds, Sodick has developed a radically new solution which combines two separate machine tool technologies: the ultra-high precision machining of wire EDM with high-speed machining of waterjet cutting.

Overcoming the many technical challenges posed by this task was no easy matter, but was greatly facilitated by the use of Sodick's own linear motor drive technology as well as the new partnership with "Flow International Corporation", the world's largest waterjet manufacturer.

The combination of these state of the art technologies has resulted in a hybrid machine that provides, faster cutting speeds, higher accuracy and improved quality.
